Awards
Each year, Hoosiers for Higher Education presents two honors to members of the IU family for their service and dedication to higher education and Indiana University.
Sue H. Talbot Award
Named for HHE’s founding director, the Sue H. Talbot Distinguished HHE Member Award honors a member whose volunteer work and dedication to HHE exemplify Sue’s generous spirit and loving support of Indiana University. HHE also awards the Sue H. Talbot HHE Volunteer Award Scholarship.
Welsh-Bowen Award
The Welsh-Bowen Distinguished Public Official Award honors elected officials at any level of government who have made significant contributions to higher education and IU.
