Student Involvement
Student participation is critical to HHE’s success. Hundreds of students work throughout IU’s eight campuses to spread the word about HHE and to raise awareness of the importance of supporting higher education by promoting HHE’s Annual Statehouse Visit. Student Advisory Board
Select Indiana University students serve annual terms on the Advisory Board to Government Relations and Hoosiers for Higher Education. The board meets four times during the academic year. The board is charged with developing a student outreach plan for the year, coordinating student recruitment efforts, developing new advocacy initiatives to be used by students in their grassroots efforts to influence government policy, and providing student feedback regarding specific points of pride or concern to the Office of Government Relations.
